AIR TRANSPORTATION

Stewart International is THE Travel Department for most of the organizations that we work with. As such, unless business or first class is requested, it is our goal to provide the most expeditious and inexpensive air options available. As many of our clients are funded by government grants, we are also familiar with and mindful of USAID restrictions.

Our computer system has the ability to compare fares between cities and to identify the lowest fare for any routing. Moreover our staff is trained in fare construction which often enables them to achieve reductions above and beyond those identified by the computer. Where appropriate, we are happy to negotiate group rates and/or volume discounts.

As the travel business is in a perpetual state of flux, we constantly monitor electronic and print media in order to stay on top of the latest developments in the industry and the world at large. Thus, we stay abreast of the many "start-ups" that offer introductory rates that drive down fares in certain markets.

Our vigilance also allows us to be pro-active when airline strikes or political unrest is anticipated. Should a disruption occur, we can instantly access a list of passengers who might be affected so that we can take the appropriate action. The safety of our passengers is our greatest concern.

Client advocacy has become an ever-increasing role for us as today's economic climate has caused a significant diminution of airline comforts and services.

ACCOMMODATIONS

From palaces to pensiones, we have access to accommodations throughout the world: hotels, motels and resorts as well as villa and condo rentals. Furthermore, through our industry affiliations we are frequently able to book discounted rates for our clients.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

Stewart International  can book rental cars and limousine transfers as well as daily/weekly car services throughout the world. We maintain specially negotiated rates with Avis and can offer discounted rates for international car rentals through consolidated suppliers.   We are also able to reserve and ticket most rail and ferry transportation  worldwide.

VACATION PLANNING

A cruise through Alaska, a family vacation at Club Med, a once-in-a-lifetime safari, a mid-winter escape to the sun ...... wherever, we'd be delighted to book your arrangements and are well-qualified to do so.

MEETING PLANNING

Stewart International  has extensive experience booking group and incentive travel. We've handled groups as small as ten and as large as thirteen hundred. We have expertise in everything from negotiating group air and hotel space to arranging for security and simultaneous translation.

MANAGEMENT REPORTS

Our back-office system (TRAMS) can track travel expenses by individual traveler, department, project code, etc. It can summarize cost savings, frequently flown carriers, exceptions to travel policies, and lost savings opportunities. Data can be formulated to accommodate whatever your needs might be.

FREQUENT TRAVELER PROGRAMS

We encourage our clients to sign up for all applicable frequent traveler programs. Furthermore , we enroll our corporate accounts in Airline Small Business Programs so that benefits are accrued not only by the traveler, but by their organization as well.

AFTER HOURS SERVICE

We offer after-hours, emergency assistance to our clients via Travel Helpline. Travel Helpline is a privately held, family-run firm with well over forty years of experience. Their travel consultants are extremely well-trained and knowledgeable- thus able to provide the expertise and service that Stewart International's clients have come to rely upon. They employ over 130 agents in three call centers (New York, Colorado and Ireland) which can be "rolled over" in the unllkely event that an emergency shuts down one of the three.   Travel Helpline is bridged directly into our reservations system so that they can instantly access our passenger travel records. They can be accessed within the United States with a customized toll-free number. Travelers calling from abroad must call long-distance, but can ask to be called back.

NEWSLETTER

We send an electronic newsletter on a quarterly basis with interesting and helpful industry updates. Occasionally, we also send out brief notifications when there's a particularly good sale or a security issue that we feel our clients should be aware of.
